Assist is a comedy short about what happens when.a fresh off the boat film school graduate thinks he is ready for the big time in Hollywood. Carter Roman is a serious film nerd. He’s straight out of film school. His film knowledge is top notch but he failed to learn some common sense! He is an entitled know it all but it’s hard not to be when your dad is the biggest lawyer in Hollywood. Today is his first day as a production assistant on a major movie set and he’s looking to make director status on day one. Carter is following his dream but he’s got a lot to learn before he can get there.
