As long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with movies and television, especially comedy. My memories of growing up in North Carolina include my sister and me holding our stomachs, hurting from laughing ourselves off the couch, watching stand up specials on HBO and The Carol Burnett Show, or sitting next to my dad watching every episode of the Wonder Years. I wanted to do improv and make people laugh but I was such a shy kid that I just did not have it in me to get in front of strangers. Instead, I watched whatever shows and movies I could get my hands on, especially things that made me laugh.

Flash forward to an early editing class at Los Angeles Film School., we edited footage from News Radio and everything clicked. Two of my loves, storytelling and comedy, came together and editing became my way to tell jokes without being a performer. I have been on a mission to make people laugh ever since. I love hearing the laughter in the room knowing that the edits are working.

Over the last couple of years I have felt inspired and exhilarated as I have expanded my skill set to include extravagant dance numbers, romance and drama. My recent projects have fallen more into dramedy/romantic comedy. I have a great sense of timing and a collaborative spirit. I love sharing creative energy and thrive in a fast paced environment. I want to bring joy and positivity into this crazy world and I believe that I have a fresh and unique perspective to bring to your project.
